This is the movie Year 6 made at Art class with the stop motion tecnique.
The students made the drawings and Maggie helped us to record the sounds and voices.
The story is about Covas beach and the way Lolo, the library pet, saves the beach against the sharks that invaded it.

MAGGIE'S INTERVIEW

Year 6 students interviewed Maggie, the language assistant before she leaves school.
She helped us to improve our oral skills during the school year and we had a good time with her.
She is going to the USA and we will miss her a lot!
Thanks Maggie and good luck!

WOMEN'S DAY

women's day 2016 - Kizoa Movie Maker

Today is the International Working Women's day.
In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation, and love towards women for their economic, political, and social achievements.
At school we celebrated this day, watching the video of google (doodle) about this event.
Then Maggie told the children about FRIDA KAHLO's life and works.
Every week during the month of March, we are going to learn a lot of thing about women artists.

CHRISTMAS SCAVENGER HUNT

Christmas scavenger hunt - Kizoa Movie Maker

We played Scavenger Hunt with Maggie.
A scavenger hunt is a game in which the organizers prepare a list defining specific items, which the participants – in teams – seek to gather all items on the list. The goal is usually to be the first to complete the list.
We played the game with Year 4, 5 and 6. They had to look for all around  the school to get the items.
The items were related to Christmas and it was very fun.
