MADISON, OUR LANGUAGE ASSISTANT IS AT SCHOOL
Year 5 students have written about Madison, our language assistant. They made these cute pictures of her.
She is Madison. She is 22 years old. Her favourite food is ice cream. Her favourite animal is a cat.
She is from Minnesota. Her favourite color is purple. Her favourite film is Finding Nemo.
She has got 3 cats, 2 dogs and some chickens. She lives in a farm. She is tall and thin.
She has got long, straight and light brown hair. She has got brown eyes. She has got glasses.
She is happy and friendly. She has got 2 younger brothers. She hasn´t got a boyfriend.
She hasn´t got freckles. She has got 9 piercings. She is our language assistant this year. (by Aldara)

COLIN , OUR LANGUAGE ASSISTANT SAID GOODBYE TO COVAS SCHOOL
Colin Mallory has been working as a language assistant from October to May.He is an excellent teacher and we learned a lot with him: about his country and his traditions. He helped us with the oral skills to improve our pronunciation and vocabulary in English.
He also was teaching primary students at Art classes.
Next year, he is going to work in Madrid and we wish him GOOD LUCK!

ART PROJECT- MAKING A BOOKTRAILER
Year 6 children are working on a project to create a booktrailer. The book is called "Escarlatina a cociñeira defunta" written by Ledicia Costas.
Children love this book, The final task consists on create a video. Colin, our language assistant helps us with the vocabulary in English.
The class is divided into teams and each team works in a section; making the sets, drawing the book characters, the script, recording the voices and especial effects, recording the scenes and editing the video. They use apps for tablets and computer programs like GIMP, Audacity, Open shot editor...
